Two important locations are quite a distance from Downtown Vancouver.
The first of these is in Ladner. The Two Rivers Roadhouse from episode 3.03 is really Ladner’s Sundance pub. Address: 6574 Ladner Trunk Rd, Delta, BC V4K 3N3. This is a must visit from Talder fans.

The staff are very friendly and happy to talk about shows that have filmed there – there are several. The manager was the filming liaison for the filming of Motherland and was very happy to talk about it. Due to covid restrictions, they were not actually there on the three days of filming at the bar.
My advice is to get there early, preferably at opening time. That way you can talk to the staff while you sit at the bar where Alder ate her nachos.

Or recreate Tally’s dancing scene.

You can sit at the table where Abigail and the others sat to hear Khalida explain about how she and Alder were both Stewards. This is Table 4. You could have a drink and get lunch.

The cowboy / cowgirl decals on the bathroom doors were put there by the Motherland set designers and they left them at the end of filming.
You could end your visit by going around the back of the building. This is where Tally and Alder went to speak to Elayne at her trailer.

To the north of the Vancouver area, at Belcarra, is Camp Howdy a major location in episode 3.07. Address: 3000 Camp Howdy Road, Belcarra, BC
This is not an easy place to reach. It is private, but they put on events which the public can pay to attend and they have outdoor dining events and a lights festival. When we visited, they were upgrading some of the facilities for the outdoor dining experiences. When they are holding one of their dining evenings, you can get a water taxi and, I believe, there is a ferry for the evening. It is in a beautiful location.
We visited out of the dining season and contacted the owners who gave permission for us to come. The filming liaison officer met us and showed us around. They can be contacted through the website. It is well worth a visit. We were even allowed inside the building where the Council of the Great River met and where Raelle actually returned.

There are two other places worth mentioning, although it is not possible to visit them.
In episode 2.09, the Nicte execution scene was filmed at the Harbour air hanger at Vancouver International Airport.
In episode 1.01, when Tally checked into the airport, she was at the Delta Desk at Boundary Airport.
